Time-Saving Hacks for Amazon Sellers

Pulling reports from Amazon Seller Central is clunky, and manually analyzing them is slow and inaccurate. Get the accurate insights you need fast, with Junglytics.

When managing an Amazon business, there’s always something more you can do. At any given moment, you could consider new product lines, improve your advertising, update your listings, or optimize your supply chain. With so much going on, it’s beneficial to discover ways to save time.

As any Amazon seller knows, pulling and analyzing your business data is very time-consuming. For a lot of sellers, the process looks something like this:

  1. Downloading several CSVs out of Seller Central
  2. Using VLOOKUP in Excel to investigate multiple columns of data for the same ASIN or ASIN group
  3. Creating pivot tables to explore patterns and trends within the data

On a good day, this can take about 15 minutes. And if you want it again tomorrow or want to inspect a different date or time frame—you have to start all over. Even worse, after pulling all of this data, many sellers (myself included) still aren’t sure if what they are seeing is accurate.

On top of that, there is a staggering amount of additional data to pull and analyze from Seller Central, including data related to:

  • Sponsored products
  • Sponsored brands
  • Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) fees
  • Referral fees
  • Monthly settlement report fees
  • Returns reports
  • Order cancellation reports

And that doesn’t even include COGS and profits data that you need to source externally. If you’re simply trying to measure profit, that’s +10 report downloads for any time period you want to review. Clearly, Amazon sellers and agencies need a solution to help them save time and get accurate insights.

As an Amazon seller myself, I recognize how clunky putting together data from Amazon can be. That’s why I developed a solution: Junglytics, a business intelligence tool helping businesses investigate their data with ease so they can sell better on Amazon.

Over the past decade, I’ve run two Amazon businesses—one with lots of ASINs. Pulling the data relevant to my business was a time-intensive hassle. I know I’m not alone in that. With Junglytics, sellers are empowered to create their own custom dashboards and explore the data most relevant to their goals.

Junglytics is an Amazon seller tool designed to save time by tracking:

  • Sales trends
  • Profit
  • Total Advertising Cost of Sales (TACoS)
  • Traffic
  • Conversion rates
  • Amazon fees
  • ROI
  • Margin
  • Advertising performance metrics by ad type (products, display, brand)
  • Organic vs. PPC
  • Inventory
  • And 40+ other metrics

Let’s take a deeper look at some of the time-saving features Junglytics offers.

Save Time With Preconfigured Dashboards

While Junglytics prides itself on highly customizable dashboards, users can also take advantage of our preconfigured dashboards. In an instant, you can explore a KPI (key performance indicator) tracker, product performance, regional dashboard, and how listing changes affect your sales. This is a big win compared to spending inordinate time downloading and combining reports.

Junglytics offers preconfigured dashboards including a KPI tracker, product performance audit, advertising performance review, regional dashboard, and a dashboard to compare listing changes.

Zoning in on the data most crucial to your business is easy. Use the filter bar to select the region(s), product line(s), primary/secondary variant(s), and the date range you’re interested in. Feel free to customize existing cards or add new cards to show metrics as needed.

Better yet, you can save these dashboards to get the newest data every day, without having to manage the process manually.

Save Your Filters to Return to the Same Data Sets Again and Again

One of the key features that Junglytics offers that sets it apart from most other tools is that users can save catalog filters and data visualizations in a dashboard. Why is this important? This unparalleled level of customization lets you keep on top of specific parts of your business with ease.

If, for example, you sell jewelry in the United States and Germany, you might be interested in breaking down your KPIs by product line, product variation, and region. When you’re selling a new product line of silver jewelry to a German audience, you might be most interested to see rankings, the number of reviews, and whether your advertising investments are breaking even. Your US gold jewelry sales, on the other hand, might be a more established region and product line, in which case you can organize your dashboard to focus on profitability and inventory availability.

By saving these filters, sellers can revisit these data sets again and again, thus saving the time and effort of pulling reports and manually analyzing them.

Junglytics Saves Data for 4 Years

Data is saved within Junglytics for four years and can be accessed at will. This is extremely helpful for examining historical data, year-over-year trends, seasonal products, the efficacy of older ad campaigns, previous listing changes, and the like.

Saving dashboards is simple, so even if you won’t check a seasonal product until next year, your information is stored safely until you need it again.

Never Pull a Seller Central Report Again

If you’re looking for how to be faster as an Amazon seller, Junglytics can save you time on pulling reports so you can focus your time on selling.
